Goldsmiths Law Society Presents: Outspoken Issue 1

Updated: Nov 27, 2020

Dear Esteemed Colleagues My name is Alex Choi and I am the President and Co-Founder of Goldsmiths Law Society. I hope this post finds you well. I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you “Outspoken”, the Law Society’s inaugural magazine. The magazine was led mainly by two fellow Law Society members, Henry Norman and Fabian Higgins. As part of our initiative to grow the Goldsmiths Law School and to provide both professional and social network to our students, we have launched a monthly editorial which touches upon relevant and helpful issues which affect our student body and the community at large. In our inaugural edition, we gain insight into prominent role models from the past and present, including an exclusive exposé on Professor Dominic Grieve QC and George Arthur Roberts, a New Cross war hero. We also raise awareness to more tangible social issues such as student mental health and well-being, which we hope to be an area that many students can personally relate to. We firmly believe that Outspoken is an intellectually and socially stimulating piece which can serve audiences beyond those interested in law. In fact, we would welcome a diverse group of writers from all academic disciplines. We would therefore be grateful if you could kindly share Outspoken with your student body, along with our cordial invitation to anyone who wish to join us as a journalist. We are at your disposal should you have any queries or would like to discuss further. Thank you. Yours faithfully, Alex Choi The President of Goldsmiths Law Society
